On Friday, March 7, 2020 over 90 visitors attended the Rogues Artists Group’s opening reception for their ART IN SO MANY WORDS exhibit at Inspiration Studio in West Allis. The opening also included art created by  students and a musical performance from WAWM Shining Strings.

"How great is it to have high school students exhibit their artwork alongside a group of professional artists such as the Rogues Artists Group?!” said Erico Ortiz, owner of Inspiration Studios. “The professionals were pleased to see this exhibit.”

“Personally, I have always wanted to encourage emerging artists, so I am elated to have this exhibit at Inspiration Studios. As a proponent of emerging artists, I certainly hope this shared gallery experience inspires the students to delve deeper into their art and to pursue other options for displaying their work."

Professional artists commented on how much talent was evident in the colorful student exhibit. Dan Pierce, a
copper works artist from Mequon, commented, "This is such a wonderful thing for these young artists!  It is so great to see what promise students show as future artists.”

Mrs. Mary Pat Michels, West Allis - West Milwaukee music lead said, “We were so happy to have the support of a local studio/theater to help kick off our Youth Art & Music Month.  We encourage everyone to attend these special events!”
