As part of a series exploring how teachers are engaging students while teaching in a virtual learning environment, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Education Reporter, Emily Files, interviewed Amanda Hendrickson, a kindergarten teacher at Wilson Elementary School.
“I did two phone interviews with Emily and she attended our class on Zoom,” said Henrickson. “We talked about the creative ways we are working to engage students in learning while we’re virtual.”

“We are very proud of Ms. Hendrickson,” said Principal Breanne Willms. “This has been a challenging time and because of teachers like her, learners are progressing even while we’re apart.”
