Submitting a Meal Application* and Sharing Information Consent can allow us to determine if your child is eligible for these benefits...

  • Free or reduced lunch!  

  • Waived or reduced school fees! If approved, parents receive a Letter of Eligibility that can be used to waive or reduce school fees for Half-day 4-year old Kindergarten/Early Childhood ($40), Full-day 4-year old Kindergarten, 5-year old Kindergarten, Grades 1-5 ($80), Grades 6-8 ($95), Grades 9-12 ($105).

  • Other fee reductions! The Letter of Eligibility can also be used for a variety of savings such as Advanced Placement Exam fees ($94 each), College Application Fees (e.g., UW-System $50.00; UW-Madison $60.00;  MATC/WCTC/Technical College $30.00) or fees for West Allis-West Milwaukee School District Recreation and Community Services enrichment classes.  

How do I fill out the forms?

  • Printable forms are on our website at www.wawm.k12.wi.us

  • The online application and Sharing Information Consent is HERE

  • Paper copies are available at your child’s school Main Office.

Where do I submit the forms?

Drop the forms off at your child’s school Main Office or send them to the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District ~ 1205 S 70th St, West Allis, WI  53214 ~ Attention: Meal Program.

How am I notified?

Within 10 business days of receiving your application at the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District office, you will be sent a letter via the U.S. Postal Service with a determination regarding your eligibility.

*Although Central, James E. Dottke, West Milwaukee, Franklin, Horace Mann, Jefferson, Longfellow, Madison, Pershing, and Wilson qualify for free breakfast and lunch, parents should still complete the forms to see if their child is eligible for the additional benefits listed above!
