“Over the past five years, we have been working hard to meet the goals of our Strategic Plan,” explains Superintendent, Dr. Marty Lexmond, “The plan has helped us to focus on specific strategies and measurable outcomes that center on our District mission and vision.”

Beginning March 10, 2020, parents will have an important opportunity to provide feedback to West Allis-West Milwaukee School District leaders regarding their work.

Our District mission is to develop inquiry-driven, independent learners through instruction that is personalized and engaging, with a focus on college/career readiness and 21st century skill development,” says Director of Leadership and Learning, Deidre Roemer. “Our vision is to foster personal excellence and life-long learning for all students. The survey feedback helps know how parents feel we’re doing.”

The Studer Education Group conducts the Parent Satisfaction Survey. All responses are anonymous and parents also have an option to include comments. The survey is administered to all parents/caregivers with a child in the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District and will run through April 7, 2020.

“The Parent Satisfaction Survey is used to measure the satisfaction parents have with their child’s school. The results help us set priorities and align resources for continuous improvement. We encourage all parents/caregivers to take a moment and complete the survey,” says Lexmond, “The feedback is essential to our ability to meet our district-wide, long-term goals.”

We’ll be giving $1,000 (to be used for a student-centered activity) to the three schools with the highest percentage of Parent Satisfaction Survey completion. So we hope you’ll take the time to respond!
