Magellan Promotions Donates to District’s Community Closets

“This is a very generous donation,” said Coordinator of Community Relations, Deann Yaklich.
Magellan donated winter coats, hats, sweatshirts, sweatpants, and 200 pairs of socks!  We can get these much needed resources to our students and families through the Community Closets.”

Content Writer/Marketing Strategist for Magellan Promotions, Lauren Schudson explains, “We like to give back to our community in ways that matter most.  We
want students to have what they need so they can focus on learning each day.”

Community Closets are at Horace Mann Elementary, Frank Lloyd Wright Intermediate, and James E. Dottke High School are available to all community members. Families in need of support can call the school's main office or fill out a request for food or clothing.  

“We receive many donations of used clothing but to get new items for our kids is just so special,” stated Meg Holzhauer, Educational Assistant and Closet organizer at Dottke High School.
