We are pleased to announce that Mrs. Kori Sack has been approved by the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District Board of Education as the new principal of Hoover Elementary School.
Mrs. Sack participated in a rigorous application, interview, and selection process involving a final interview panel which included teachers, parents, and district administrators.
Mrs. Sack is a West Allis native who graduated from Nathan Hale High School.  After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, she returned to West Allis for two years before working at an inner-city charter school for three years. She returned to the district eight years ago, teaching at Jefferson Elementary School for five years.  Mrs. Sack served as our District’s PBIS Coach and trauma-informed trainer for two years.
This past year she served as Hoover Elementary School’s Deeper Learning coach.  The panel felt strongly that Mrs. Sack is the right leader moving forward.  In addition to her prior work as an educator, there are a number of strengths she brings to this role:

  • Active in the school community
  • Strong communicator
  • Compassionate/considerate
  • Innovative instructional leader
  • Understands child development
  • Supportive of staff
  • Student centered
  • Experienced with trauma-informed care

We feel that these qualities and many others will help Mrs. Sack be successful as the principal of Hoover Elementary School for years to come. We offer Mrs. Sack our heartfelt congratulations.
