Join us for a 30-minute presentation, shared by students and staff, that will help 8th graders and their families determine if partial or full enrollment at James E. Dottke Project-Based Learning High School is a good fit for the coming school year!

Learn about the Dottke approach to project-based learning and the dual-enrollment partnership they have with Central and Nathan Hale.  We’ll share information about the application/interview process and answer questions after the presentation.  Our goal is make sure that all students access the high school experience that is right for them.

Originally founded as an alternative education option, Dottke has now transformed into our District’s only fully-functioning project-based learning school for students grades 9 - 12.  Dottke provides a small school setting where students feel a strong sense of belonging and take ownership of their learning.  Teachers use a project-based learning model that focuses on the deeper learning competencies and student choice.  At Dottke, students take the content that they learn and apply it in a real-world, authentic way.

We hope to see you Wednesday night!
