The vocal cords are warmed up, the instruments are tuned, and the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District’s talented students are ready for their holiday music performances.  Hundreds of children involved in band, orchestra, and choir will participate in concerts throughout November and December.

In addition, the Recreation and Community Services Department is excited to partner with Friends of Fine Arts to offer two special performances.

Suburban Concert Band
On Friday, December 6, 2019, the Suburban Concert Band will hold its Holiday concert at 7:30 p.m. in the West Allis Central High School Auditorium (8516 West Lincoln Avenue, West Allis). The band is composed of both professional and amateur musicians from West Allis and the surrounding greater Milwaukee area.

Suburban Singers and the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District Sinfonia 
On Friday, December 13, 2019, the Suburban Singers and the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District Sinfonia will hold a holiday concert at the Liberace Auditorium at West Milwaukee Intermediate School (5104 W. Greenfield Avenue, West Milwaukee). The concert will feature Vivaldi’s Gloria. In addition, seasonal choral and symphonic music will be performed.  The concert concludes with an audience sing-along of holiday favorites.

General Admission is $8.  Senior tickets (62+) are $7.  Contact the Recreation Department at 414-604-4900 for ticket information or purchase tickets at the door the night of the performance.
