A food drive was sponsored by Nathan Hale Rotary Interact Club, National Honors Society, and Student Council at Nathan Hale High School.  According to Sophomore Class Advisor, April Ellery, “For two days in December, we collected food.  We then donated over 1,000 items to Longfellow Elementary School and Horace Mann Elementary School -- we wanted to help those in need in our community.”

Also in December, members of HOSA at Nathan Hale High School ran a Toy Drive for two days.  According to Madisyn Mohs, HOSA president, “We collected a total of approximately 788 toys and a monetary donation of $150.  We received a call from Tom Griffen from Milwaukee Rescue Mission.  He said we provided one of the biggest donations for the Toys!  We appreciate this opportunity to provide to those in need.”
On December 12, 2020, the Central High School Rotary Interact Club organized a Food and Toy Drive.
“We are so proud of our Interact Club Members for their help with advertising the event, collecting the donations and delivering them,” said Club Advisor, Carrie Hanson.
“Because of their hard work we were able to collect around 800 pounds of food and 300 toys!  The food was donated to Central families in need, St. John's Lutheran Church, and the Hunger Task Force.  The Toys collected were donated to Kapco Kids2Kids drive,” added Club Advisor, Kaeley Sexton.
