“Next, we’re happy to share that due to USDA regulations related to the pandemic, every student that attends school is eligible for free breakfast and lunch.  We are looking forward to having students back in our cafeterias!”

School Meal Program
Due to USDA regulations related to the pandemic, all students that attend school are eligible for FREE breakfast and lunch for the 2020-2021 school year.

In partnership with Sodexo,

  • Elementary schools will have two meal choices (one hot/one cold).

  • Secondary schools will have seven meal choices.

  • Only pre-packaged silverware will be used.

  • All food items will be wrapped/cupped.

  • Self-service stations and garden bars will not be available.

  • Ala carte snacks and beverages are only available in the secondary schools.

While breakfast and lunch are free to students this year, ala cart items must be purchased.  Parents are encouraged to put money on their child's account for ala carte purchases to minimize handling of money.

School Breakfast and Lunch Plans
We are working to implement safety plans for the preparation, distribution and consumption of food.  Each school has a specific plan for breakfast and lunch.  The plan will vary by school due to physical space, staffing, and kitchen facilities.

Families can put money in their child’s account for ala carte items or to make payments for Food Service using Skyward.  Families can also view transactions.

  2. Go to FOOD Service > click on > MAKE A PAYMENT.

  3. Click on PURCHASE FOOD to put money in your child’s food service account.  Once selected, your request will be added to your cart for check out.
