Originally founded as an alternative education option, Dottke has now transformed into our District’s only fully-functioning project-based learning school for students grades 9 - 12.  Dottke provides a small school setting where students feel a strong sense of belonging and take ownership of their learning.  Teachers use a project-based learning model that focuses on the deeper learning competencies and student choice.  At Dottke, students take the content that they learn and apply it in a real-world, authentic way.

There will be a presentation from James E. Dottke High School staff designed to provide a brief overview of their program.  The school is open for any interested in-coming ninth grader that wants to experience school in a different way.
