Any qualified elector wishing to be a candidate and have their name listed on the official ballot for one of three(3) West Allis-West Milwaukee Board of Education positions in April 2020 must submit all necessary paperwork (*Declaration of Candidacy (EL-162sd) and Campaign Finance Registration (CF-1)) to the District Office in the period beginning December 1, 2019, through no later than 5:00 pm on Tuesday, January 7, 2020

A minimum of 100 signatures and no more than 200 are required.  Signatures can be collected
beginning on December 1, 2019 on the form HERE.


*The Declaration of Candidacy requires notarization.

Please email zimms@wawmsd.org or call 414-604-3005 to schedule an appointment with Suzette Zimmerman, Executive Assistant to file all the necessary paperwork.  Regular business hours for the District Office are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The District Office of the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District will have limited hours starting Monday, December 23, 2019, through January 1, 2020.

Ballot Access Checklist (ELIS-5)

Checklist identifying forms that must be completed and filed on time by a candidate for School District office in order for the candidate's name to be placed on the Spring Primary (if necessary) and Spring Election ballots. (PLEASE NOTE: Nomination papers are not applicable for SDNB elections.)
