The focus of the Facility Planning Committee is to develop a 20-year facility plan.  This plan will consider enrollment trends and projections, and assess the condition of current facilities to develop recommendations for buildings over the next twenty years.  Recommendations may include which buildings to keep and update, which to replace, and which to close or re-purpose.  The committee will work with an outside population study group and an architectural/engineering firm to create a plan.  The committee will also make recommendations regarding the financial impact of the plan which may include seeking referendum support.

The Facility Planning Committee will meet monthly until a plan is presented to the Board for consideration.

The committee has 20 members and including two members of the school board, administrators, teachers, other employees, parents, and community members.
