The WA-WM Recreation Department offers after school programming at Walker School. The program is open from 3:25-5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday when school is in session. The cost is $60 per semester per child or $120 per year per child no matter how many days a student participates. SAFE features a new format which includes a structured and small student group schedule. Students are checked in and out. Daily activities include directed play, study time, fun and fitness, and a variety of enrichment activities. Special events, movies and community service projects are also integrated into the program. Staff, parents, and students work together on behavior expectations. Snacks are provided.
