Math Web Sites for Kids

 

 

www.aaamath.com  – Students can search activities by grade level or math activity.  Appropriate for all grade levels.

 

www.funbrain.com - Plenty of games for students to strengthen their math skills.  Students can search games by age, grade level, or subject area.  Appropriate for all grade levels.

 

www.mathsurf.com - This is the math website linked to the math textbook our district uses.  Students can work on problems that are related to each chapter of the book to reinforce skills taught in the classroom.  Family activities are included.  Appropriate for all elementary grade levels.

 

http://edweb.tusd.k12.az.us/ekowalcz/math/index.htm - This site has a ton of neat activities and students can click on the math topic they want to learn more about and they will be taken to an activity to reinforce that concept.  Appropriate for all elementary ages.  Students will need to click on “Elementary” on the left side of the page.

 

www.math.com   - This is a commercial site, complete with plenty of advertising, but there are some good activities for students in 2nd or 3rd grade on up.

 

www.aplusmath.com  – This site has plenty of activities and games to help beginning to intermediate math students improve their skills. Flash cards, concentration games, more.  Geared more to 2nd grade or so and up.

 

www.mathgoodies.com  - A former math teacher has put together this site containing a lot of activities for students, including printable practice sheets.  This site is geared more for upper elementary students and older.

 

www.multiplication.com  - Just what is says, lots of practice and strategies to help students learn multiplication.  Students should click on the “Students” box near the top.

 

www.redmond.k12.or.us/patrick/renz/mathsites.htm  This site is managed by a teacher in Oregon.  It focuses on math for 3rd grade on up.  Students can search the activities by grade level or math topic.

 

http://www.kidsites.com/sites-edu/math.htm - This is basically a site that lists other math web sites.  Some of the ones listed are already listed above.  There other sites you may want to take a look at.
