"Student Authors Honored!"
Congratulations to Mrs. Wandsneider and her 2010-2011 second graders on winning the Grand Prize in the 2011 Scholastic's "Kids Are Authors" book contest. On September 15 the young authors were presented with plaques, medals, and a copies of their book, "What Does the X-Ray Say?" In addition, Mrs. Wandsneider and Longfellow Elementary received $5,000 in Scholastic merchandise.
