Farmers' Markets offer the best and freshest food.  Here is a list of Milwaukee's Farmers' Markets.

 

Keep your children reading this Summer.  New Berlin and West Allis libraries have reading programs all summer long.  All Hoover students were provided with information on our Scholastic "Read for the Record" and Achieve 3000 programs.  Please check backpacks for further information.

Dear Hoover Families,

Summer School will beheld at hoover from July8 - August 1.

Open House for Hoover Elementary
School will be held on August 29 from 5:00 -7:00 pm.
The 2013-2014 school year will begin on September 3rd.
Have a great summer and remember that I am available via email hataba@wawm.k12.wi.us all summer long.
Please know that it may take me a day or two to get back to you during the summer months.

The History of Spike the Dragon,
Hoover's Mascot

    Spike is located on the Northeast corner of Hoover. Her "mother" was our past art teacher, Mrs. Edith DeBrue. She designed and helped build Spike.  Spike is also a time capsule.  He is holding newspapers and other things from the 1980's and 1990's..  It will help us remember our past.
