A huge mailing with more information and forms will be mailed home in late July or early August.

West Allis-West Milwaukee School District Ranks #1

In its April 2012 edition, Milwaukee Magazine ranked the best high schools in the area.  West Allis ranked 30/33 that factored in WKCE, ACT and AP scores.  The magazine also added a second ranking this year that considered a districts poverty level and WKCE results.  West Allis finished #1.   Please click on the following red link to read the full article:

IMMUNIZATIONS

We have been advised by the West Allis Health Department to encourage your child(ren) to update their immunizations well in advance of school opening to avoid the late summer rush at immunization clinics.  We encourage you to obtain immunizations through your personal physician, clinic, or HMO if your insurance coverage includes routine immunizations.  Immunizations are also available through the local public health department in your community. 

For WEST ALLIS and WEST MILWAUKEE residents, immunization clinics are held every Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and Thursday from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the West Allis Health Department.  No appointment is necessary and there is no cost.  To accommodate working parents, evening immunization clinic hours are available.  Call 414-302-8600 for an appointment.  Please be sure to bring your child’s immunization record with you.  This is your opportunity to update your child’s immunizations before school starts in the fall!
