Jesse graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor's of Arts in 1998. Upon graduation he taught in the Green Bay area and was recognized in 2000 with the Golden Apple Award for innovation in education. Jesse received his Master's Degree in Educational Psychology from University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 2005. Prior to coming to Nathan Hale, Jesse worked as school counselor at Wauwatosa East High School and as a teacher at Thomas More High School. He is currently working with students whose last names begin with Ec-J at Nathan Hale High School.

Debra earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education: English from U.W. - Milwaukee. While teaching English at Nathan Hale High School, she also earned a Master of Science degree in Curriculum and Instruction from U.W. M. After teaching for nine years, Debra became Academic Director of Nathan Hale High School, a position she has held for the last eight years. This past summer while working toward her principal license and director of instruction license, she earned a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership from Marian University.

Larry graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and Social Science; he also has minors in Psychology and Native American and Rural Social Work. He received his Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Larry has been a school social worker in the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District since 1999. Prior to coming to the school district he worked at Washington House Group Home for Boys: Choices to Change Inc in Plover, Wisconsin. He is currently working with students whose last names begin with K-Mo at Nathan Hale High School.

Nikki earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Following graduation, she attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where she received her Master’s Degree in Social Work. For eleven years, Nikki served as Assistant Director of youth organization working primarily with teens. Following this position, Nikki obtained her certification in school counseling at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and was hired by the West Allis /West Milwaukee School district shortly after completing graduate school. Nikki is currently working with students whose last names range from Se - Z.

Debbie is a graduate of West Allis Central and never imagined one day she would trade a Bulldog for a Husky! Never the less, she has worked at Nathan Hale since the ’94-’95 school year. She was a part-time clerk in the Main Office for nine years and then became a full time attendance secretary holding that position for five years. Currently she is the Student Support Services secretary and is very happy to be assisting students and parents in a new capacity. Her daughters both have graduated from Nathan Hale and she enjoyed volunteering with the various groups they were involved with.

Cay and her family have been residents of West Allis for 28 years. She raised her three children here, all of which graduated from Nathan Hale. She has worked in the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District for approximately 20 years, in different arenas, fourteen years working in the College and Career Center. Under the direction of Nate Rice-Coordinator of the Career Academy, she is involved with all aspects of the Career Majors program including sophomore career exploration. She also helps with scholarship workshops, the PLAN test, PSAT test, college representative visits and even supervises in study halls.

Nate graduated from Hempfield H.S. in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and enrolled at Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, New York, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a double major in Psychology and Government. Nate received his Master’s in Education from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and moved to Chicago where he first worked as a program counselor at an Upward Bound Program and later as a school counselor with Chicago Public Schools. Next, Nate returned to Pennsylvania to work at a high school in rural Perry County, outside Harrisburg. Nate returned to the Midwest in 2001 to accept a job at Nathan Hale where he currently works with students whose last names range from Mr-Sz and also serves as department chair.

Gail graduated from UW-Oshkosh with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. She has a Master’s degree in counseling from UW- Whitewater. Gail’s variety of counseling experiences include working with students in grades 7-12 at Central, Frank Lloyd Wright and now Hale. Gail’s caseload this year includes students with the last names of A-Eb .
