The practice schedule in the upper gym is as follows:

Tuesdays and Thursdays ---

3:05 - 5:30 pm

Wednesdays and Fridays ---

3:05 - 5:45 pm

Saturdays ---

7:00 - 9:30 am

CONGRATULATIONS GYMNASTICS TEAM!

The gymnastics team placed third out of eight teams at the conference meet with a team score of 138.7.

The conference meet took place on Saturday, January 18th.  Way to go ladies!

Junior Sara Quesnell was a conference champion in gymnastics on the uneven bars with a score of 9.42.

Junior Emily Fuchs was a conference champion in gymnastics on the balance beam with a score of 9.40.

 And more recognition...

The gymnastics team placed third at the WIAA Sectional meets at Homestead High School missing second place (and going to State as a team) by .5 of a point!  Two individuals did qualify by placing in the top five of their events. Sara Quesnell, junior, placed first in the bars, 9.50, second in the floor, 9.45, fourth in the vault, 9.150, and second in the overall 36.850. Sara will compete in all three events as an individual and will defend her championship in the overall at State. Emily Fuchs, junior, finished third in the bars, 9.325, first in the beam, 9.475, first in the vault, 9.450, and first in the overall 37.400. Emily will also compete in the three events as an individual as well as the overall.

Congratulations to Sophomores ...

Sara Quesnell, who is the STATE CHAMPION in the All Around Competition.

Emily Fuchs, who finished 5th in the All Around.

The Varsity team finished 3rd in the North Shore/Greater Metro Conference meet last year scoring 133.375 points. 

• Emily Fuchs won the vaulting competition with a score of 9.4.
• Sara Quesnell took first place in the uneven bars with a score of 9.525. 
• Fuchs was also fourth on the bars and floor exercise.
• Quesnell was 5th in the floor.
• In the All-Around Competition, Fuchs took second and Quesnell took third!
