Important Learning Center/Dottke Events are listed on the district school calendar (above link), and in our Newsletter and Calendar which is mailed home monthly as well as available by clicking on the links in the left column of our home page.  We also have a  Coming Events page available on our website.

School Schedule:

The WAWM LC/JED hours of operation are from 7:30 am until 3:30 pm.

Students attend school from 8 am until 2:00 pm.

WAWM LC/JED Programs

The West Allis West Milwaukee Learning Center and James E. Dottke High School offer the following program options for students:

  • Classroom Instruction in a smaller environment individualized to meet student needs.
  • Project-Based Learning
  • Experiential, community-based learning
  • Computer-Based Credit Recovery
  • GED Option #2 - A program assessed by the National GED testing service which allows students to achieve a traditional High School Diploma
