We continue to be a family even once you graduate!
May is one of my favorite months of the school year. We are able to see students display their talents in a variety of ways. The Advance Placement tests, various award ceremonies and scholarships reward the academic achievement and personal dedication and sacrifice of many of our students. The concerts and art shows display the quality work of our Fine Arts programs. Finally, Prom and the anticipation of graduation are milestone events in our students’ lives. Central High School in May truly has something for everyone.
For all students, winding down the year means ramping up preparation for final exams. Make sure to check Infinite Campus on a regular basis to ensure that your student is keeping up with their coursework. Being organized and ready for exams will help students have a smooth transition into the summer months.
Finally, as the weeks wind down, please know that attendance and timeliness is very important. While we understand that occasionally families and students have circumstances that make it difficult to be at school it is extremely important for students to attend school everyday.
