Mission Statement:
The mission of the Nursing Department is to provide comprehensive school health services to the students and staff of the West Allis West Milwaukee School District. These services encompass physical, emotional and social health that promotes staff wellness and student readiness to learn. Barriers to becoming a healthy learner will be minimized or reduced. Healthy learning is made possible by illness prevention and screenings, coordinated data driven responses with nursing interventions, referrals, and individualized school accommodations. There will be an integrated community presence that reflects the District Nursing Department commitment to quality service accessible to all members of the West Allis West Milwaukee School District population.
